Have a Concern About a Business Practice?
Keeping an eye on marketplace practices is what we do every day. We review business practices against our BBB Standards For Trust and encourage businesses to voluntarily correct those practices that don’t measure up to the BBB Standards. To fulfill our mission we conduct local investigations should we become aware of business practices that appear to be in conflict with BBB Standards.
Tell Us About it. If you come across a business practice taking place in NYC, Long Island or the Mid-Hudson region, that you believe the BBB should investigate because it may be deceptive, misleading or unethical, send your concerns to: investigations@newyork.bbb.org
You may submit your information to: investigations@newyork.bbb.org. Please provide the following which is needed in order for us to conduct the investigation:
-
The name of the business
-
Any other contact information for the business that you have
-
An explanation of the concern
We may contact you with additional questions, however, we will not be replying directly to each submission.
Please note: If you are a consumer requesting BBB’s help in resolving a dispute with a business, please click here to use our complaint form. Tips sent to investigations@newyork.bbb.org are not handled as formal complaints filed against a business. Again, to file a complaint click here: Click Here
