The study concluded that “meeting BBB Standards for Charity Accountability is positively associated with increased levels of public support as measured by fundraising revenue.”

Daniel Romero, a senior at Division Avenue High School, is the 2013 recipient of the Virginia (Ginny) Gerardi Memorial Scholarship presented by the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York. The $500 award was presented on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 during Senior Awards Night at Levittown Public Schools Division Avenue High School. Kathleen Piereth-Heenan, Executive Director of the Long Island Better Business Bureau and Ms. Gerardi’s daughters, Joyce Reardon and Angela Schrotz, presented the award.
